Our professional development workshops are aimed specifically towards those in the healthcare sector. We will discuss your training requirements with you and develop workshops to suit the needs of your organisation, be it a pharmaceutical company, a hospital or an educational establishment.
Short Courses
We hold short courses for anyone with an interest in Medical Ethics. You might be a doctor, a nurse, a patient or a patient’s relative, or a scientist who would like to learn more about ethics in a healthcare setting. These courses will help you consider ethical issues from different points of view and encourage you to challenge your own position on moral problems that arise in medicine.
Case Consultations
In the event of a specific problem in medicine, we can meet with you to discuss the details of your case and to help you determine the best way forward. We do not offer legal advice but will help you handle the moral elements of your case. We can work with you to explain the moral issues in accessible and non-technical language and to understand any specific moral concerns that you may have about the case. While most consultations would be requested by organisations, we are happy to serve individuals as well.
